We are excited to announce our new Junior Miner Program. Last year, one of the school teachers who visited the mine mentioned the idea of a scavenger hunt for her students. The idea stuck in the back of our minds and we shared it with some of the team. Carl took that and created some kid friendly questions that started this idea. We wanted to create something special for kids to be able to do as they explored the property.
The Junior Miner Program puts kids on an adventure to explore above and below ground, in search of answers to questions about the history of the Delaware. After completing the questions in their search manual, they get a certificate and a custom patch for their efforts. We hope through the program kids learn and understand the importance of preserving and respecting the history of sites like the Delaware.
