As we figure out what we are doing, we discovered as a Heritage Site with the Keweenaw National Historical Park we are also part of the Junior Ranger Program.
We have been visiting parks with my godchildren since they were little and every time they are near a park with or without us they take the time to go through the program. It has created many memories and been very educational. Sometimes Gracie pushes back because she thinks it is to much like school on her vacation but she eventually comes around. The KNH park has also created a scavenger hunt for the kids that adds another layer of engagement and fun.
